Money saving tips for families: part six

The sales used to only last a few days but these days there seems to be some sort of sale on pretty much all the time.
Some retailers are still trying to sell the last of their winter lines and that is great news for us parents.

Children can grow out of things quickly in the early days although this does slow down as they get older.

Growth spurts are common though and you can suddenly find almost overnight that things don’t fit.

One of my children is having a growth spurt at the moment and suddenly all his trousers look too short. This has literally happened overnight!

One way that families can save money is by buying the next size up in the sales. This means that you will not only pay less but you will not be caught out by another growth spurt as you will have items already – double bonus!

There is a final clearance over at Vertbaudet at the moment which is well worth a look as some items have up to 60% off.

These boys extra tough canvas trousers are reduced to £10.50 at the moment and they still have them in quite a few sizes as well.

This sweater is just £7.20 and would make a lovely outfit combined with the trousers above. There are of course other colour combinations to choose from.

For girls there are all sorts of bargains to be had including this short sleeved jacket which is great with jeans or a skirt. This is just £9.50 at the moment.

Then there are items like this lined dress which to be honest can be worn in the winter with tights and a cardy or in the summer without. This is only £7.60 at the moment.

There are loads of great dresses like this one below still available as well. These are a great price at £9.10.

There is still so much of this sale stock available you could easily kit your children out for next autumn and winter without spending a fortune so pop over to the website and take a look. The also have free delivery this weekend so you can save on that as well!
