No ordinary school run

Our school run is different every day.

After loading the four children into the car and checking for the third or forth time that we have everything we need, we set of on our magical mystery tour.

It is so entertaining for us all because we just never know what we will see on the way.

We have daily traffic jams, but they aren’t your regular sort of traffic jams, ours typically involve:

  • sheep
  • cows
  • pheasants
  • rabbits
  • squirrels
  • horses
  • tractors
  • and the odd group of ramblers

Today though, we had a first… meet Mr Ferret, our road blockage of the day! He really did not want to move and decided to rest in the middle of the road.

  1. Sounds like a lovely school run! We’ve got a few years to go until we have to do the school run but I doubt it’ll be as exciting 🙂 #bigfatlinky

  2. Mine is nothing as exciting as yours just manic! Tends to be me checking everything is locked/turned off 10 times before checking once more just incase!

  3. That is so cool, I don’t know if I’d be as laid back about the prospect of a different road blockage, I get stressed getting out the door in time and we walk! #ordinarymoments

  4. I love that! We had the oddest school run once (in the middle of London) – we were just walking along and suddenly, outside the pub, was a GOOSE! It was so totally random. I have no idea where it came from but I was assured it had been returned. i was rather worried about it!
