Welcome to part six of our ‘Christmas Gift Guide’. I hope we haven’t put you off by mentioning the ‘C’ word too soon.
You will no doubt be either really excited or totally put off having seen the title of this post but it is actually only a few weeks until Christmas. I’ve officially started my Christmas shopping now. I am always a bit caught up between wanting to be organised and just feeling it’s all a bit too early.
I always like to make sure that Santa is fully informed about the latest DVD releases. One of the bits of information I’ve given him this year is about the new Kate and Mim-Mim DVD.
Kate and her toy bunny Mim-Mim are twirling off to Mimiloo for some fantastically festive adventures in Kate & Mim-Mim: A Christmas Wish, out on DVD on 9th November 2015, courtesy of FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment!
This Christmas cracker of a DVD contains seven seasonal episodes as well as an exclusive toe-tapping music video. In Twinkle Twinkle Kate sees a falling star shoot across the sky and wonders where it landed, so it’s off to Mimiloo to track it down. Meanwhile, in Snow Bowling Kate wants to build a snow fort, but there isn’t enough snow in the yard, Kate travels to Mimiloo for some snowy fun, but when the gang slides down into an ice cave, Kate will have to think creatively to get them out!
Based on a real-life girl (the daughter of Kate & Mim-Mim’s creators) and her toy bunny, Kate & Mim-Mim tells the story of feisty 5-year-old Kate and her big imagination! Whenever she has a problem to tackle or a puzzle to solve, Kate and her purple playmate Mim-Mim twirl off to the magical land of Mimiloo where she and her friends can be anyone and do anything.
Kate & Mim-Mim launched on CBeebies in August 2014 and has been a firm favourite amongst pre-schoolers and their families ever since, ranking amongst top rated TV shows for 4-6 year olds across all UK children’s channels.
Exploring themes of friendship, adventure and problem solving, Kate & Mim-Mim: A Christmas Wish is the perfect Christmas Gift.
We love a bit of Kate and Mim-Mim in our house and the theme tune always gets everyone singing along.
