Guilt free snacking

When you are a mum on the run, you need quick snacks that can satisfy your hunger but not massively up your calorie intake.

I’m a big fan of Japanese inspired foods, having spent some time out in Japan during my university years.

This week I’ve been dashing about with a packet of these beauties in my bag. They are guilt free at around 45 calories but the problem is they are so moreish you kind of need ten bags which then defeats the object I guess.

Yushoi Snapea Rice Sticks range includes Lightly Salted, Smoked Salt & Szechuan Pepper, Soy & Balsamic Vinegar and Sweet Chilli and Lemon flavours. The Smoked Salt & Szechuan Pepper are my absolute favourtie but all of them are really tasty to be honest. They are quite different to the standard snacks I have in the cupboard and it’s nice to find something a bit more unusual that tastes so good.

Yushoi Snapea Rice Sticks are baked, free from nuts and dairy, suitable for vegetarians and vegans, high in protein and fibre and have no artificial colours, flavourings or MSG – making them the perfect family snack.

If we ever get any sun this year I’m going to pop some of these on the table outside and enjoy a nibble and a cool drink.

What is your favourite guilt free snack?
