Money saving tips for families: part ten

You might have been reading our series of articles on money saving tips for families recently. There are a number of ways families can save money and we have covered several different areas so far in this series.

In this article we will be looking at the use of vouchers.

In the past, there has been some stigma around the use of vouchers. I was never quite sure why, as why would you pay more for something if you didn’t have to? Particularly for families, when there are so many expenses on a daily basis, whatever savings you make on one item, trip, day out, food bill etc, can be put towards something else. It makes sense, surely?

I think lots of families are becoming savvy to this now and I know lots of people who save vouchers up so spend on something special. I also see people on Facebook openly asking “does anyone have a voucher/code for…….?” In general the use of vouchers and online discount codes seems much more widely accepted.

It does mean you need to keep you eyes out though, as you can easily miss some great offers if you aren’t looking in the right place. One of the best places to get hold of vouchers and online discount codes is http://www.voucherbin.co.uk/ – check out the website and have a look around as there are loads of savings to be made for families. You can save a fortune if you are on the look out on a regular basis.

There are savings to be made across so many different areas of life. From products for babies and children, to holidays, to meals out and day trips, to beauty items. To make the biggest savings you really should explore the site before you buy anything, just incase there is a discount available.

You can search by category, or even search by shop, if you are looking for something very specific.

  1. I never buy anything online these days without searching for a voucher code first. I find 99% of the time you can find a discount somewhere. Thank you for sharing on #ThriftyThursday
