It’s that time of year again where children and their parents are flocking to see Santa. Have you been yet? Some families have their own traditions of seeing Santa at the same place every year, whilst others like to mix things up a bit.
This year Liverpool Town Hall have their own Santa’s Magical Grotto.
Go along and witness this enchanting Christmas fairytale experience featuring Santa’s elves, and eye popping displays in the stunning surroundings of the magnificent Grade I listed Town Hall building.
Follow the Santa trail and meet a feast of fairytale characters, before getting the chance to meet the man in the red suit in his traditional Grotto in The Crypt of the Town Hall and let him know what’s on your Christmas list!
Children will be presented with an early Christmas gift – especially if they’ve been good, and a professional photographer will be on-hand to capture the ultimate festive magical moment – when youngsters meet Santa.
The Grotto is now open each weekend and will be open daily from Friday, 16th December to Friday, 23rd December.
The event is part of One Magical City – the city spectacular’s programme of events to ensure this Christmas is a cracker.
The Grotto is open from 10am to 5pm (last entry 4.30pm). Tickets are priced at £7.50 and include meeting Santa Claus, a selection box and entry for two accompanying adults (£1.50 for additional adults).VENUE: Liverpool Town Hall, High St, Liverpool L2 3SW.
This Santa experience is well priced for what it is and very relaxed. There is a buggy park just inside the doorway and friendly staff on hand to help you out. This is the ideal place to visit Santa if your little ones are not too sure, as they are so relaxed and the wait is not too long. Also, for parents it can be a nightmare if you’ve paid loads of money for something and then the children hate it.
You’ll meet some friendly elves along the way and hopefully they will brighten your day!
You can buy tickets from the venue OR book online here.
