We’ve been hunting for bugs and collecting things in the garden quite a lot over the last few weeks. Recently we’ve been using a range of outdoor learning tools to help us.

Yes, they’ve been doing lots.
No they’ve been doing most of it indoors but they have been going for a walk most days for ‘PE’ to get some exercise.

My children aren’t very outdoorsy but the did help me work planting vegetables in the garden and looking after the growing plants.
Yes! My son has really started getting in to gardening, started to grow his own vegetables which he is loving!
Yes, with the weather being so great, it has been ideal for doing some gardening, crafting, bird feeding and watching and fun games.
Yes they have been planting seeds and watching them grew. They also made bird feeders out of plastic milk containers

My sister and I took my niece down to the local field to see soe baby badger cubs enjoying the sunshine. We also went down to the local brook and saw some crayfish.

Very little as we have a tiny garden and live in a city
Unfortunately no outdoor learning for us as we have no garden
Yes, the youngest has been playing with homemade STEM games on the patio and going on a long walk every day to find bugs and get some fresh air.
We’ve spent a little time walking and learning the names of plants that grow near the river and the birds that are flying and swimming, as well as other wildlife in the area which we’ve been learning about xx
We have been small trips to the park for learning which they enjoyed.
Yes, we’ve built vegetables planters and grown loads of veggies with them!
My granddaughter has been growing some plants from seed, and has also done several “wildlife surveys” which mostly feature invertebrates as my daughter’s back garden is very small. Hopefully now she can continue doing outdoor activities in her local park.

We’ve been exploring a broken tree trunk. This microscope is a great idea to look at it in more detail! And love all the ideas and activities in the comments above. We’ll be sure to try some of them this week.

Yes lots! We’ve done lots of nature walks and scavenger hunts, as well as games and obstacle courses! It’s been fun and we’ve been so lucky with the weather.

I have to say most of the learning has been done indoors, when were out he’s generally playing on swings, or in the paddling pool. Although we do like to should sums out at each other whilst were gardening/playing.

We’ve been spotting animals on our walks growing, plants from seed and measuring them weekly

We’ve been outside in the garden as much as possible. As a family, we’ve particularly enjoyed tracking the ISS and watching the Starlink satellites at night.
Yes when the weather has been permitting, going for our walks, the kids love nature,so always finding new things to see and asking many questions, which i cant answer but we look up together when we get home,
