Win a £25 voucher for PoundToy

You might have seen my recent article about creating a ‘Busy Bag’ for children when you are travelling, especially on a long haul flight or when doing a big road trip.

I mentioned in the article that sites like PoundToy are great for buying bits and bobs to pop into these busy bags. There are tons of things to keep children busy on a long or difficult journey.

I’m pleased to say I’ve teamed up with PoundToy to offer one Mummy Fever reader the chance to win a £25 voucher for PoundToy, so you can put together you own busy bag for travelling?

What would you buy with your voucher to occupy your little ones?

    1. Sometimes as I have 4yr old girl and 2 year old boy one of them always sleeps and the other needs entertaining the whole journey

  1. It’s OK if you plan ahead, make sure you have snacks and things for them to do, and make sure they know what to expect, how long it will be etc

  2. I always make sure we have enough drinks and snacks to keep the children happy when travelling, planning is the key.

  3. Our kids are older now & we don’t have to travel far with the grandchildren. It was never stressful with our kids when they were younger as they were used to car travel from an early age as we used to visit friends regularly who lived at least an hour away & the seaside once a year which living in the midlands was at least 3 hours away.

  4. incredibly stressful! I was just having this conversation with a friend today! If we have a good journey that is a rarity.

  5. Sometimes especially if things don’t go to plan and the journey takes longer than planned!

  6. Not really. I went on lots of holidays with my 2 kids, without my husband. I actually found it easier without him, as then there was no question who was in charge!

  7. Definitely. My children get car sick which isn’t nice for them and makes me really anxious!

  8. I find travelling with my toddler very stressful. He hates his car seat and gets bored when hes in his pram for long bus journeys!

  9. Just the preparation such as choosing things to take, packing them into the car and leaving on time.

  10. I find travelling with kids SO stressful – earplugs, and smelling salts thank you 😉

  11. No I get more anxious about travelling myself and whether our suitcases will arrive other end 🙂

  12. No I don’t. The only tjing that stresses me is when they need the loo and there is a big que or no toilet close by.
