I loved dance classes as a child. They were loads of fun. It’s often something I think would have been good to continue, but for me, the horse riding took over.
All my children love to dance and my daughter loves ballet amongst other things of course.

yes – keeps youngsters minds and bodies healthy and active and great for developing social skills, confidence and creativity!
Good for their fitness and creativity
being able to express themselves and staying active in an enjoyable way
Whilst dance is a good source of fun exercise for young children, as well as being a creative outlet, dance can also help to develop a greater range of movement whilst developing the ability to work within different spaces. Dancing also improves a child’s co-ordination, especially at a time when they are rapidly developing.
It is great for fitness, confidence and helps them learn to work together as a team
I think the benefits are improved co-ordination and confidence.
My 5 year old niece has been dancing for a couple of years and it’s brought out confidence on stage for her.
I think it helps with balance and gives them something that is there own thing.

I was packed off to dance classes and whilst I did not really come away with any talent I did learn to walk tall and straight and it certainly improved my confidence being able to glide along like a swan rather than trample like an elephant 😉
