Freshly washed hair rarely looks its best for long. One sleep later and the volume has usually disappeared, the roots have flattened, and the ends can start looking bent, frizzy, or uneven. By day two or three, many people feel stuck between wearing their hair up or washing it all over again.
The good news is that modern styling tools are making it much easier to revive hair without starting from scratch.
The TYMO Stylux Pro Thermal Brush, Price: £63.99 has been designed specifically for this kind of quick restyle, helping recreate body at the roots while smoothing and reshaping the lengths in just a few minutes.
Unlike traditional straighteners that can leave hair looking flat and overly pressed, the Stylux Pro combines the lift of a round brush with the smoothing effect of heated styling plates. The result is hair that looks polished but still full of movement.
One of the standout features of the TYMO Stylux Pro is how well it works on second- and third-day hair. Rather than completely restyling the whole head, it allows users to target the areas that need attention most:
- lifting the crown,
- refreshing face-framing sections,
- smoothing slept-on ends,
- and bringing bounce back into the lengths.
The curved thermal brush design makes it easy to place underneath the roots and gently lift upwards while styling. This recreates that freshly blow-dried effect that tends to disappear after the first day. According to TYMO Beauty, the tool is designed to create salon-style volume and smoothness with less effort than a traditional blow-dry.
Another major advantage is how quickly it can refresh hair without adding water or repeating an entire wash routine. For busy mornings, school runs, gym sessions, office days, or evenings out, that can make a huge difference. Instead of committing to washing, drying, and styling from scratch, users can simply reshape the existing style in a matter of minutes.
The 1.5-inch barrel size helps create soft volume and movement rather than poker-straight hair. That makes the Stylux Pro especially effective for people who want lifted roots and polished ends without losing body through the mid-lengths. The ceramic-coated barrel and negative ion technology are also intended to reduce frizz and boost shine while smoothing the cuticle.
Many people find the most effective technique is to work in a few large sections:
- Lift underneath the crown to restore height.
- Pull face-framing pieces away from the face for movement.
- Twist slightly through the ends to smooth bends and creases.
- Run lightly over the surface layer for shine and polish.
This approach helps hair look intentionally styled again rather than simply “not ready to wash yet.”
The TYMO Stylux Pro is also useful for extending the life of a professional blow-dry or salon appointment. Instead of watching volume collapse after one day, the brush helps recreate shape and bounce so styles last longer between washes. For people trying to avoid overwashing their hair or reduce daily heat exposure from repeated blow-dries, that can be a practical alternative.
For anyone frustrated by flat roots and tired-looking lengths after just a day or two, the TYMO Stylux Pro offers a simple way to revive hair quickly. The ability to raise the roots while smoothing the ends gives hair that freshly styled appearance again without needing another full wash day.
What I found
There is no UK plug option for this tool, so you need an adaptor. However, the hot brush heats up super fast and is very easy to use. Brush hair through normally first and don’t use on wet hair. This has given me another option, rather than straightening my hair after every wash. It even gives long hair a bit of bounce!
