Is there something that you always dreamt of being?
An astronaut? An Olympic athlete? A famous musician? Perhaps you wanted to travel the world?
Did your dream change as you got older? Have you ever thought about how your dreams as a child compare to your dreams now?
Were you encouraged to pursue your dreams as a child? Are there still dreams that you want to pursue as an adult?
I think my dreams have changed over the years. As a child I dreamt of being an International Show Jumper, I’ve loved horses for as long as I remember and the bigger they are the better. I still love horses but I haven’t ridden for years, the rest of my life took over I guess. I still hope that one day I will be able to take it up again.
By the time I reached University the dream was to be a spy…fuelled by my Masters Degree in International Relations. Just for the record, I’m not a spy, but there’s still time right? I satisfy my craving with box sets like Spooks, The West Wing, Scandal and Homeland for now.
Did you know – Over half of all Brits believe they would have pursued their dreams further if they had more energy as a child! Sun-Pat can be a great source of energy, assuming no allergy to peanuts of course. It’s great for children, but you need to think outside the box a bit and move away from just Sun-Pat spread on bread. Why not serve up some Sun-Pat and Cinnamon Fruit Loaf or maybe even a tasty Sun-Pat and Banana Milkshake, for great flavour and slow release energy.
Our children like to dream big and we encourage them to do that. Between them they have a real wide range of dreams from performing on the Xfactor, to having their hand-drawn comics made into an animation, to swimming in the Olympics, and even becoming a Superhero. We support their dreams and ambitions to get them closer to reality.
Sun-Pat have launched a competition which will give two people the chance to live their dream for the day. The official campaign hashtag is #SunPatDreams and you can enter here. There are some wonderful runner’s up prizes too, so get entering, for a chance to live the dream for a day! There are eight runner-up prizes of a year’s supply of Sun-Pat Peanut Butter and a £1,000 donation to a local group of their choice to ensure our future stars are equipped to achieve their own dreams.
Happy dreaming!

Aw what a great campaign and such a lovely post. My dreams now are completely different to my childhood dreams – although, I would still like to be a unicorn, I suppose! 😉
