So it’s actually happening – the Halloween stuff is still in shops alongside the Christmas stuff…really? I mean it’s everywhere! Christmas preparations seem to begin earlier and earlier each year.

For those of you who like to be organised we’ve got a great competition today. Your chance to win £25 worth of toys and games from What2buy4kids.

Lisa set up What 2 buy 4 Kids in 2010. It was an idea that grew out of her frustration for buying decent kids birthday presents. Being an ex-primary school teacher, she wanted to use her knowledge and expertise, so her aim was to provide you with fun, educational and exciting gifts that are worth your money, and won’t end up forgotten in the bottom of a wardrobe like so many other presents.

Three important factors lie at the heart of their ethos, which drives the team to seek out the best toys for customers.

  1. Brains over brands.  They select the best toys on the market with the most to offer, not necessarily those from biggest companies.
  2. Success for any child. Every child deserves to be given the chance to strive and they have a broad, versatile range of toys to suit children with all needs.
  3. Learning through play. Teaching your child valuable skills like reading and writing, encouraging them to express themselves creatively, along with boosting the imagination can all be done with the right toys.

Have you used their site before? It’s well worth a look for birthday and Christmas gifts. I’ve ordered from them a few times over the years, especially when I’m struggling for gift ideas.

I love how you can shop by age and be inspired with their suggestions.

  1. Sadly, no. I find shopping with children extremely stressful and, when my little ones are finally in bed, I am too tired to even attempt an online shopping. So, when you see those mums two days before Christmas who are running around the shops like headless chickens and putting in the trolley any Christmas leftover gifts they can find whilst pooling their hair and shouting to everyone she’s in the hurry, yep, one of them is me 🙂 .

  2. no I haven’t! It’s my sons first christmas this year too so I really should start getting some presents

  3. I haven’t started my Christmas shopping yet which is a worry as I have usually finished it by now.

  4. I have started but I have not got a lot. I am usually done by now but this year keeps throwing obstacles at me!

  5. Yes we have, we always used to leave it until last minute but for 3 years running we have been buying the odd thing earlier and it makes Christmas a lot less stressful

  6. I started my Christmas shopping with 2 packets of luxury florentines. However, I must confess that I ate both packs! So I guess the real answer is no.

  7. Yes, I started back in July during the sales. I still have a couple to get, was waiting till Black Friday to see if I could get a deal as my son always wants music-related stuff which does not come cheap
