Win gorgeous books to read with your children this Mother’s Day

Each year for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day I get a couple of new books for the children relevant to the specific day for us to read together. We also do this at Christmas and Easter as well. It is nice to have a bit of a theme to our reading sometimes for a change.

We’ve read some lovely books on Mother’s Day over the years, my personal favourite being The Mummy Shop. A great book to remind little people how lucky they are to have you.

This year I have a lovely Mother’s Day competition for you. Mummy Fever readers can win a set of two gorgeous books which are ideal reads with your little ones this Mother’s Day. We have two sets of these to giveaway.

The first book is Dragon’s In Love and the second, Held In Love . If you’d like to add these to your book shelf, just enter the easy widget below.

Good luck!

  1. My granddaughter loves pretty much all the Julia donaldson books. I love reading her the Beatrix Potter books, because I read them to my children, and they were read to me as a child and they have stood the test of time so well.

  2. My daughter Heidi and I love reading especially at bed time, Our favourite story book is Room on the broom by Julia Donaldson.

  3. The Very Hungry Caterpillar is one we all enjoy as the children know the words off by heart and love the illustrations.

  4. Any of the Roald Dahl books but a firm favourite has always been George’s Marvellous Medicine.

  5. We love What The Ladybird Heard and love the fact the book has sounds for the little one to enjoy taking part in the story.
