Are you a mum with a leak? No problem!

Women like to chat, but there’s one thing that even we won’t talk about.

Any idea? Well, it’s bladder weakness. New research by Ontex Healthcare reveals that nearly half the 1,000 women surveyed (48%) are too embarrassed to talk to their friends about it, yet only 18% are embarrassed to talk to their GP. Odd? Yes perhaps!

In fact, bladder weakness is seriously holding women back with over half (54%) planning a toilet break on a day out and 41% saying it has stopped them from undertaking activities they enjoy, and half say they avoid certain drinks because it will make them go to the toilet more. It seems that bladder weakness really is one of the last healthcare taboos that exists in our oh-so modern world. Come on ladies!

Ontex Healthcare firmly believes that there’s nothing to be embarrassed about and is shouting from the rooftops about its iD Light Advanced product for superior anti-leakage protection.
