Any idea? Well, it’s bladder weakness. New research by Ontex Healthcare reveals that nearly half the 1,000 women surveyed (48%) are too embarrassed to talk to their friends about it, yet only 18% are embarrassed to talk to their GP. Odd? Yes perhaps!
In fact, bladder weakness is seriously holding women back with over half (54%) planning a toilet break on a day out and 41% saying it has stopped them from undertaking activities they enjoy, and half say they avoid certain drinks because it will make them go to the toilet more. It seems that bladder weakness really is one of the last healthcare taboos that exists in our oh-so modern world. Come on ladies!

absolutley! I have suffered bladder problems for years, i do my pelvic floor exercises but often forget…… its horrible! there not enough help out there i got refered to a bladder clinic only to be told what i already know there was no alternative.

I have suffered with a weak bladder since having my children, it has also made me suffer from irritable bladder and irritable bowel. I know it is very common and speak openly with friends and my doctors
