This time of year is such fun, with Halloween, Bonfire Night and then the countdown to Christmas. It’s a great time for inspiring baking and craft activities with children and there are so many possibilities.
After already doing a spot of advanced Halloween craft last month, this weekend we decided to use our Bostik supplies to create a bonfire picture complete with a Guy Fawkes.
Guy Fawkes was the first to get a make over, adapting a wooden peg with a Sharpie pen.
We used a black pom pom for his hat, just gluing it to the wooden peg.
The fire was then constructed out of a mixture of card, shimmery fabric and orange feathers. This was all layered and bunched together before gluing everything in place.
Guy Fawkes was slotted onto a lolly stick and then into the top of the fire, right where he should be! This was all glued onto a black background.
A few final additions of fireworks with glitter pens and stars and some autumnal leaves and here we have it – Guy Fawkes on the top of his bonfire.
Will you be doing any Bonfire Night craft this year? Let us know and share your ideas below.

this looks fab, i can’t believe it will be bonfire night soon already!!
Lovely picture, can’t remember the last time I went to a bonfire
Amazing way to celebrate Halloween
I’ll be going to our local bonfire display
Lovely ideas. I’m not sure if we’ll be doing any crafts. My husband will take the kids to the bonfire in the village. I don’t like the crowds so I stay away.
Looks fab…Might give this a go with my two ?
Great idea, love this time of year
