*WIN* 1 of 2 sets of £25 vouchers from Aldi to help with your weekly shop

I don’t know about you but I’ve certainly noticed the prices of things during my food shop going up. Friends have mentioned the same thing. Each week there are more things that have gone up in price, increasing the overall cost of your weekly shop.

I’ve teamed up with ALDI on behalf of the British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) to demonstrate that frozen food can help you to put a genuinely tasty meal on your plate while saving money. There are also the food waste benefits of course . If your plans change or you don’t fancy something, it stays in the freezer until you cook it, rather than ending up in the bin. You don’t have the issue of things going off in the same way either as food will keep for longer. Just take out what you need and pop the rest back in the freezer for another day.

Award Winning Frozen Food From Aldi

Aldi have a number of award winning frozen foods, including the following:

  • Specially Selected Marbled Winter Berry & Sicilian Lemon Roulades
  • Specially Selected White Chocolate & Raspberry Ice Creams
  • Specially Selected Honeycomb Ice Creams
  • Gianni’s Lemon Sorbet
  • Specially Selected 4 Cheese & Onion Quarter Pounders
  • Four Seasons Cheesy Hash Browns
  • Plant Menu 2 Ultimate No Beef Burgers
  • Carlos Takeaway Bacon Double Cheeseburger with a Cheese Stuffed Crust

My daughter is vegetarian and we were already familiar with the Plant Menu items. These are really well priced and ideal to have in the freezer. She’s a busy girl and an athlete that needs feeding well, so always having some of the Plant Menu range in, to add to other items is really useful.

Frozen vegetables can be really useful to have in the freezer to. I love preparing fresh veggies, but they often go off before you have a chance to use them all, so frozen ones most certainly create less waste.

Competition Time

Now the exciting part. To be in with a chance of winning one of these two £25 ALDI vouchers to help make that food shop a bit less painful, just enter the easy widget below.

  1. I love rooting through the Aldi specials aisle for tools and stuff.
They may not be professional quality but they’re plenty good enough for at home.

  2. I love their meat selection you can always find something different although you never know what you’re coming home with at aldi.

  3. I’d see if Aldi sells different vegetarian food, as my son gets bored eating the same every week!

  4. I would stock up with Christmas treats – mince pies, nuts and chocolate and a nice bottle of Prosecco.

  5. If lucky enough to win, I would spend the voucher on everyday items including bread, cereals, cheese and general toiletries.

  6. My freezer is full of frozen veg. Not only does it reduce waste but there is more vitamins in frozen veg than the veg you buy in supermarkets. I also buy a lot of frozen veg in Aldi

  7. I’d either stock up on some bits for Xmas or some of their yummy frozen pizzas which my son loves.

  8. I would give them to my son at university
He would probaby buy meat as he can’t afford it. We don’t eat it but he loves it!

  9. The Aldi Halloumi fries!! They are SUPERB, and I can’t seem to find them any more at my local one – HELP!!!

  10. I’d spend the voucher on fruit and veg as we always go to Aldi for our fruit and veg. I may check out some of their other products too.

  11. Would stock up on coffee and tinned foods, love their ready made fridge ranges too so might get a few of those in as well

  12. I’d try and be sensible with cupboard staples but I must admit they have lovely chocolate and smelly candles…..!

  13. This would be great to save for some extra special Christmas food as things are going to be tough this year so it all helps!

  14. I would love to try some of Aldi’s own products and this would make it possible. A friend recommended their meat, so I would try that too.

  15. I’d get some of their lebkuchen because they are dairy free so my husband can eat them, I’d also get some gluten-free treats for my son, and egg free treats for my daughter’s husband. Catering for them all at Christmas takes planning!

  16. Perfect to get some fresh fruit and fish as trying a healthy kick before all the Christmas excesses. Thanks for the chance xxx
