Affordable baby hampers for new parents (plus, your chance to win one)

Do you know someone who has recently had a baby? Are you searching for a useful and thoughtful gift for them? Something a bit different from the norm perhaps? Look no further than The Baby Hamper Company.

With all the shops closed at the moment, you can’t go and browse the shops for the perfect baby hamper, or even really go and buy bits and bobs to make up your own. There continues to be a debate around what is essential and what is not and even in our local area that currently differs hugely between shops.

Luxury baby hampers are the perfect gift following the arrival of a little bundle of joy, and you’ll find some stunning baby hampers to buy online at The Baby Hamper Company. They stock a unique and unusual selection of gorgeous trendy newborn baby gifts, accessories and toys that you can order as the perfect baby hamper gift.

How it all started

The company began with a mum and daughter team who wanted to create quality, luxury but affordable baby hampers that new parents would really love. Each hamper is sent in a box and each item is hand-packed with care and attention. They ensure that all products for sale on their website are of the highest quality, and people can customise their boxes — they can select which items they want, and each box is made to order. There are also personalised items on the website.

Why I love them

I thoroughly enjoy giving nice gifts. It makes me happy. I try to find gifts that are useful but also a bit different, and that’s exactly what these hampers are. These make such a lovely gift for a family with a new baby, and I just love the fact that you can add items to suit, so your baby hamper is fully customisable – I can’t imagine any parent not being thrilled to receive one of these.

A friend bought one of these hampers for me after the birth of one of my children and it was hands down one of the nicest gifts I’ve ever received. These hampers ooze thoughtfulness, quality and are just super cute.

Many parents are sent flowers after the arrival of a baby, but a baby hamper makes a much more thoughtful and practical gift.  Whether you want a sleepsuit for a baby boy or girl, a baby shower gift or you’re interested in a maternity leave present, there is a huge selection on the website. Why not have a browse on the site and order a really useful baby hamper.

  1. I would normally buy some baby clothes in 0-3 months. Unless the person specifically asked for something else

    1. Usually a soft toy in the hope it might be something they form an attachment too and keep through their childhood.

  2. I usually buy some kind of baby 5 year diary or similar, something slightly different. I love this hamper, perfect for a gift.

  3. An in ear thermometer that does baby to adult, it’s something people don’t think of until they need one, and it’s something that will be used for longer than any other gift. I also gift something cute, because I can’t help myself ? but the main money goes on something practical/helpful

  4. Cute baby clothes or personalised baby bath towels. A hamper would be a wonderful gift though, especially if it had a little something for Mum too.

      1. I love to buy a personlised money bank because I found it very handy with my 1st child to save for big things they need as they get older. I will definitely be doing this again with my second I’m now pregnant with ??

  5. An outfit/blanket for baby and something for mum. I brought my best friend a massive bar of chocolate, dry shampoo and lunch ingredients and made her something yummy to eat.

  6. I am entering for my next door neighbour who is due her second baby in a months time, a boy 🙂 I would love to surprise her with this.

  7. I usually ask the new mum if there’s anything she needs, and then buy her a few candles as well, as every mum deserves a gift!

  8. I normally buy 3-6month clothes as know some babies never get round to wearing all the new born clothes they get! But the last baby gift I brought was some pram toys.

  9. It very much depends who I am buying for. If it is for close family I ask what they need/want. I always buy a teddy as part of the gift. I try to buy a mix of small items including useful bits for later on and something for the rest of the family to enjoy such as a box of individually wrapped Biscotti

  10. I usually get a cute little outfit, in size 0-3 as I know loads of people gave me newborn stuff, but nothing in the bigger sizes.

  11. I normally get an item of clothing but for age 6-9 months and suitable for the season they will be that age in I always think it’s better to have something for a few months time as everyone buys cute newborn outfits but they are out of them in weeks

  12. Clothes, a book or something practical like a hamper of calpol,
Bonjela etc…the kind of things you dont know you need until you really need them! And always something for mum!

  13. I try to buy something unique like a frame with date of birth on specially made, and also I croucher some little matinee jackets, this would be amazing thanks so much I’d be so very grateful to be your lucky winner

  14. I tend to buy baby a load of clothes and a little something like unscented handcream for the mum

  15. I usually give a cuddly toy, an outfit for baby and a bundle of bibs and babygros’ as you can never have enough bibs or babygros’

  16. Having just had a baby, it was a box of biscuits for mum and dad that was appreciated as there were so many gifts for the baby

  17. Depends who it is really. For young friends it would probably be clothes or baby toys but for my grandson it was furniture, tons of clothing (various sizes) and essentials like baby wipes and a pamper hamper for mum!

  18. If it’s a small gift then fancy muslin squares because they were the thing I found most useful and it would be difficult to have too many. If it’s someone close that I’m spending a bit more on then I usually give vouchers as I got given so much when mine were born I couldn’t have used it all and I ended up with clothes being unworn, and don’t mention soft toys!
