*WIN* a Halloween Yankee Candle Set

Are you a fan of Halloween? Do you get up to much at Halloween with your family?

Over the last few years Halloween in the UK seems to have expanded to become much more like Halloween in the United States. I think it would be really interesting to experience Halloween over there as they seem to go all out.

Over the years the children have been trick or treating a couple of times, we’ve had quite a few Halloween parties with school friends, we did Halloween bowling one year, and we’ve done things like play a spooky game or watch a spooky movie as a family. Halloween tends to fall at half term here, so often their are a range of things on in the local area for the children.

Our absolute favourite thing to do at Halloween is to go to a pumpkin patch, choose a pumpkin each and go home and carve them out. We often do this ahead of Halloween and have our six pumpkins all lined up with tea lights or candles in them for a few night. The children love it.

Talking of candles at Halloween, there is a competition over at  WOW FreeStuff to win one of these Yankee Candle Sets, perfect for Halloween! If you are feeling lucky, there are also plenty of free goodies up for grabs over at Wow FreeStuff.

  1. We dont really do much for halloween , apart from the kids dressing up for school if they need to Love candles though so would love these

  2. I love Halloween – its my birthday the day after – so its always celebrated with loads of decorations and plenty of treats for the children who come trick or treating!

  3. we do not really decorate as such, but always have sweets. Then we go trick or treating with a littlun.

  4. its my husbands birthday, we don’t tend to do anything, daughter goes trick n treating round the local neighbours then back home for tea.

  5. We will probably just have a few small snacks. Children are older now so they don’t go trick or treating. But I do get treats for any children who may knock.

  6. We put some decorations in the window to welcome trick or treaters but we also dress up a little

  7. Trick or treating with the children (only going to friends and immediate neighbours who will be expecting us and then a family party

  8. I like to set up my RING doorbell & scream when they ring it lol! The kids know I’m crazy & have a good laugh with me when collecting their treats after their trick!
