With Christmas likely to be a little different this year, you might be on the look out for easy gifts you can post. Everyone could do with a bit of laughter right now as well couldn’t they?
I have two hilarious parody alphabet books to giveaway to one lucky Mummy Fever reader. These are the perfect Christmas gifts for new parents who love music and fashion.
F is for Fashion, Darling is a tongue-in-cheek introduction to all things cute couture, an ode to the new parent looking to give their new baby a strutting start on the important things in life. This book will take you from A-Z through the most iconic words and phrases from the world of fashion.
These words have new meanings for new parents: Bold Prints are made by grubby hands and Luxury is being able to sleep through the night… F is for Fashion, Darling is perfect for anyone juggling the joy of parenthood with the responsibility of being a fashion icon. That’s fashion, darling.
O is for Old School takes you on an alphabetical journey through the most iconic words and phrases in hip-hop. But now: Peace comes at nap-time, a Hood is worn on a head and when they Flow it’s going to get wet! This book is the chance for you to become the freshest parent at playgroup while your little one learns their ABCs like a G.

These books look fun!
Amazing competition! Good luck to everyone x
Trust your instincts, you’ll get masses of advice but no baby is the same as another, you know your own baby best.
Trust your insticts
Listen to advice on what people give you but remember that every baby is different and what works for one may not work for another or it may need to be tweaked to what does work.
Trust your instincts.
Be firm with people – the amount of times I really just wanted to be alone with my baby but ended up agreeing to have people over!
It’s OK to say no to visitors
Blankie for night feeds
follow your instinct
Routine is a must from a very early age: get that right and there’ll be fewer problems as the kids get older. Set mealtimes and bedtimes save confusion on a child’s part x
Don’t worry about routines at the start, the first few months just concentrate on you and baby getting to know each other
Don’t overthink everything nor listen to everyone. Go with your gut
Trust your instincts / don’t listen to everyone. just people that matter
go with the flow. it doesnt all have t be by the book
Just because somebody else does it differently to you, it doesnt mean that you are doing it wrong. Parenting is always a learning curve.
dont panic
Believe in yourself!! You know more than you think .
Accept all the help you can – you don’t have to do it all yourselves x
Take naps when your baby does.
Don’t be too stubborn to accept any help that you can get from friends and family.
You will need it!
Relax, there is no such thing as a perfect parent
Ignore any advice that doesn’t sit well with you! Especially from nazi-like midwives & health visitors.
