Are you all ready for Halloween? What sorts of things do you give out to trick or treaters who call around?
As much as I don’t mind children having a few treats, I am conscious about what goes into their systems, so I love finding out about alternatives that make me feel better about what they are having and that mean they don’t notice a difference.
Goody Good Stuff offers exactly that, a natural gummy candy range that is made with a plant derived bio-gum technology, which eliminates the need for animal-based gelatine, which most traditional gummy sweets use.
Over the last 15 years, they have worked to develop a food technology, which allows them to remove the gelatine from gummy sweets while still producing a deliciously smooth and clear consistency. This makes the product range the first and only of its kind in the market. In addition, they have taken out all of the artificial colours and flavours and use only natural fruit and vegetable extracts in the range.
They have also removed all of the other harmful food additives and possible allergens such as gluten, to create a truly all natural alternative, which are: fat free; meat free; dairy free; alcohol free; gluten free; egg free; nut free; soy free and gelatine free.
We think that these make a great option for Halloween this year, in order that little systems don’t get too overloaded. I especially like the fact that all the colours and flavours are natural and the children really don’t notice the difference.
You can get 3 for 2 deals on these at Ocado at the moment, so well worth checking out!
Will you be giving a trick or a treat this year?

They look great but I wondered if they came individually wrapped? I wouldn’t let my children eat anything that wasn’t wrapped and sealed that they had been given when out trick and treating. Was I just too cautious? I only hand out wrapped sweeties too.
I only had them like this as we were having a party at home – they do come in little sachets, so they would be the ones I would give out to others.
Wrapped sweeties are always good, but these look yummy 🙂 a great alternative! No doubt I’ll be eating lots of sweets this Halloween! #TriedTested
Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
