Staycations have ballooned in popularity over the last few years. Higher numbers of people than ever before are choosing to stay in the UK to explore the beauty and variety of their own country – and it’s not hard to see why.

I am a mum of four (1 girl and 3 boys). Raising my children is the privilege of my life. It's also incredibly complex and challenging - and that's parenthood right there, a beautiful contradiction.

Our favourite times together are going on family adventures - that might be travelling or it might just be exploring the woodland or mountains where we live in beautiful Wales. We are crazy about skiing and love living in the countryside. Normally found outdoors!
