We started this week with high hopes for the weather. The forecast was good, so we were hoping to be outside a lot more again. The week started off very gloomy though, not at all what was forecast.
What have you been wearing during lockdown? Has your style changed with your circumstances, or are you wearing the exact same things as you were before the global pandemic?
I’ve also been trying to remind myself that this is not home schooling in the sense that home-schoolers know it. This is crisis schooling and that is NOT the same thing. No one has done this before and we’ve had little time to prepare.
There are many types of pest from the furry kind to the creepy kind and we all tend to have a natural aversion to them. People are scared of mice because for 1000s of years having pests around us is known to be a bad thing. These days the thought of rats in our house is even more awful than perhaps it was 2000 years ago and if we have children it pushes the levels of revulsion up even more! But how do we know we have a problem; does it matter and what do we do?
Batch cooking is something I love. It helps me to stay in control and on top of everything and all the demands of a large busy family. It takes time but the time spent always pays off.
Valentine’s day is not just for lovers. It is for all of those who share warmth, comfort and sometimes, it can be with those precious things we value in this world, such as our home sweet home.
Arguably, the living room is one of the most used spaces within the home, as it is where families come together to relax and reconnect. Although, I have to say our kitchen is probably the most used room of all.
