Given that I know lots of my readers start their Christmas shopping in October, I have put together a list of a few ideas for this Christmas. I know that lots of people have high hopes for this Christmas, after not being able to spend time with loved ones last year. Whilst we are yet to know if COVID-19 will place any restrictions on celebrations this Christmas, it should be a significant improvement on last year.

Generally, young children are naturally physically active and are constantly moving around, whether that be on the playground at school or in the house – typically – right before bedtime. Most little children have a type of energy that’s enviable to parents and adults but this can’t be applied to every child, especially as they get older.
There is something really incredible about a handmade gift. I have a very clever school friend who makes handmade signs out of reclaimed wood and they are just incredible on so many levels. Not only do they look amazing, but the idea of taking something unused and turning it into a beautiful gift is much more sustainable than purchasing some mass-produced plastic thing with an unnecessary amount of packaging.
I mean, apologies for stating the blatantly obvious BUT, where has this school year gone? I honestly feel like they only just all went back to school, there have been so few weeks of this academic year when all four have been in school due to COVID-19, I think I counted seven weeks!!!!
