Travelling with kids: the importance of planning ahead

If you are a regular reader of the blog, you may have read my article on how to put a ‘busy bag’ together and the advantages of doing this before travelling with your children. I always see planning ahead as being central to the success of any big trip with children. Here are a few reasons why.

I am a mum of four (1 girl and 3 boys). Raising my children is the privilege of my life. It's also incredibly complex and challenging - and that's parenthood right there, a beautiful contradiction.

Our favourite times together are going on family adventures - that might be travelling or it might just be exploring the woodland or mountains where we live in beautiful Wales. We are crazy about skiing and love living in the countryside. Normally found outdoors!
