During summertime, when the weather is scorching, it’s easy to persuade everyone to get out into the open air and soak up the sunshine – but when things begin to cool down a little bit, you might find that your family becomes a little more reluctant to venture outdoors. Which is a shame, as this is a time of year when the outdoors can be most inspiring, beautiful, and fun!

There’s a relaxed and friendly vibe at the Cookhouse and Pub, which is along West Parade on Rhyl’s seafront. There’s a large pay and display car park opposite and also a cinema.
Thinking back to when we expanded our family to a family of six, we were on the look out for a bigger car! We obviously needed a seat for everyone but also needed space for a pushchair and all the other paraphernalia that comes with having four children…including a guitar played by our eldest.

Our children love nothing more than being outdoors. Some of their happiest days are spent playing outside and exploring. We love long family walks, exploring forests and mountains and it doesn’t really matter what the weather is doing. How do you keep them safe?
