Until this summer I had never heard of Llyn Brenig Reservoir, and i’ve lived in North Wales for 17 years now. We actually drove passed it on the way to Bala Lake this summer and after a quick google I decided I had to check it out with the children. We LOVED it!

Moel Famau is the highest hill within the Clwydian Range and the highest point of the county of Flintshire in Wales. The hill lies on the boundary between Denbighshire and Flintshire. It’s a great place to go walking as a family.
Dyserth Waterfall is a big of a hidden gem in North Wales. I’m not quite sure why we haven’t explored there before now, but having been we will most certainly be back.
When it comes to creating memories and having a break from all of the homeschooling, you can’t really beat a family holiday. They’re fun, normally more relaxing than the day-to-day at home, and ultimately the perfect occasion for you and your family to create lasting memories.
