We’ve been in a state of lockdown for what feels like an age, but gradually now the rules are easing up and more movement and meeting up is possible. As the UK begins to open up, to mean that more and more things are open and small gatherings allowed, what are your thoughts on the post-lockdown wardrobe?
Loungewear for 2021
If we are at home, we may as well be comfortable at home. Here are some of the loungewear trends that are currently available over at Femme Luxe. Which would you prefer? Whether you want something cool and comfy or warm and fleecy, there is so much choice. You can even find ‘smart’ loungewear that would be totally acceptable for that zoom meeting. So, no having to get changed multiple times a day! What a relief!
2020: The year of loungewear
If ever there was a year for loungewear it was 2020! This year sales of loungewear have rocketed, with lots of people choosing to update their wardrobes with things they could be comfy in at home, rather than the going out clothes they might have bought in the past.
Loungewear doesn’t have to be boring
As COVID-19 doesn’t seem to be going anywhere fast, loungewear remains a frequent purchase of people at the moment. So many people are ditching those fancy outfits in favour of comfy and cosy numbers to wear at home, because we won’t be going far for a while will we?
What does your lockdown wardrobe look like?
What have you been wearing during lockdown? Has your style changed with your circumstances, or are you wearing the exact same things as you were before the global pandemic?
Getting cosy or keeping cool? Loungewear for all year around
Loungewear is the default right now for so many people in lockdown. Whilst on the whole we’ve been really lucky with the weather and we’ve had some really high temperatures, we’ve also had temperature just above freezing some days – so, are you keeping cool or getting cosy? Chances are it’s a bit of both really!
Loungewear options for a comfy lockdown
This is week seven of lockdown, week eight in some places and longer if you were self isolating before the enforced lockdown. We need to keep reminding ourselves, we are safe at home, not stuck at home.
Comfortable lounge wear for working from home
Whilst working from home with four children here is a challenge, there are currently no school runs and no club runs, so there is much less running around than a normal week. This means lounge wear is perfectly reasonable!
