National Stationary Week is later this month, beginning on 20th April. A national lock down is actually the ideal time to be celebrating something like this, with everyone looking for activities to keep children busy and learning at the same time.

Retail giant GO Outdoors has temporarily re-branded and launched a video urging consumers to stay at home and protect the NHS, with the Met office predicting warmer and drier weather this weekend and the Prime Minister urging Brits to stay at home. This follows Department for Transport figures showing a ‘concerning’ rise in car use earlier this week.

World Autism Awareness Week which runs from 30th March until 5th April aims to raise awareness and spread acceptance to help autistic children and their families.

Key things this week I think have been that I have lowered my expectations and increased my flexibility, when it comes to timings etc and who does what when.
The benefits of climbing frames for children
We love climbing frames and wooden swing and slide sets, and we’ve seen so many benefits from taking the children to different parks over the years. Every school holiday we spend a day doing a tour of the local parks, and we try out at least one that we haven’t been to before.
