We’ve had stunning weather this week, how about you? It’s been glorious and we’ve taken the learning outside as much as possible, once all the bits and bobs we need to do online have been done.

These virtual parties use Zoom technology so that the entertainer can interact with all the children taking part and involve a mixture of magic, songs and games tailored to the age group of each individual party.
HOME SCHOOLING DURING COVID-19: WEEK 11
This week, some children in England have returned to school. In Wales, that hasn’t happened yet, but this week we have heard that schools in Wales will re-open at the end of June. It does not seem that this will be in a teaching capacity, but more of a checking-in with pupils prior to the summer holidays and September. Plans were also announced regarding extending the summer term by one week.

When we think of summer essentials, we perhaps think of the things we take on holiday with us. All the classic bits and bobs we pack in our suitcases prior to that wonderful summer sun holiday – sadly, due to the ‘minor issue’ of a global pandemic it’s very unlikely that anyone will be travelling anywhere this summer. This week would have been half term if the children had been in school, so we decided to take a break from formal learning and do much more outside in the lovely sunshine.
